HELLCHAMBER were a Vancouver, BC based Heavy Metal band who were active 2011 - 2020. They have released one full-length album, and three EPs.
Known for their blend of Classic and Thrash Metal, HELLCHAMBER became a fixture on the Western Canadian Heavy Metal scene supporting notable acts such as SOULFLY, FLOTSAM & JETSAM, ACT OF DEFIANCE, BUTCHER BABIES, WEDNESDAY 13, HAMMERFALL, GRIM REAPER, RAVEN, PRIMAL FEAR, WEST OF HELL, UNLEASH THE ARCHERS, INTO ETERNITY and many more.

Formed in 2011 as the brainchild of bassist James Dean Eckert and singer Shane Stone, HELLCHAMBER quickly established themselves as the Vancouver's Best Kept Secret, playing a mix of Classic and Thrash Metal.
Two independent releases - a self titled EP in 2012, and full length album "The Right to Remain" in 2013 - spawned videos for "Bring Me Down" & "Sick Of It All"; HELLCHAMBER received airplay on FM radio, appeared as a featured artist on CFOX "Monday Midnight Metal Shop"; and were invited to be guests on several internet podcasts.

After a short hiatus in 2015, HELLCHAMBER re-emerged in 2016 with a new vocalist, Garth Allen (ex-Flybanger/Jar) and released the EPs “MKII” in January 2017, and “Safe and Manufactured” in June 2018. Videos for "Dösé" (released in 2017, from “MKII”) and "Suffering is Optional" (released in 2019, from “Safe and Manufactured”) were well received.
"Dösé" was included on SCRAPE Records’ 2018 Vinyl Sampler with "Suffering is Optional" acting as bonus track/video on the accompanying C.D.

In the fall of 2019, HELLCHAMBER's founding members, singer Shane Stone and “Sexy Bass God” James Dean Eckert, reconnected and entered the studio with guitarist Dan Larson, and drummer / engineer / producer Rob Wade (Touch The Sun, ex-Flybanger/Jar).
The resulting collaboration yielded two new single releases in 2020: The original composition "Dogs Of War", and a cover of the SKID ROW classic “Slave To The Grind”.
With the ensuing global events of 2020 causing loss of momentum, HELLCHAMBER has gone into hibernation.
